From the Artist’s personal collection a RARE ONE-OF-A-KIND PROTOTYPEÂ w/TAG. Plus ARTIST SIGNATURE ON TAG and on ORNAMENT BACK.
The prototype is a dull finish rather than the glossy finish of the regular production ornament.
Knob on lower part is all gold, rather than black with gold circle under it.
Strings on prototype are hand applied loose, rather than taunt on the production.
Back of prototype has no Hallmark embossed date,logo, sku# and crown … all regular production ornaments have the embossing.
Both Protype paper tag and prototype ornament have the Artist, Tom Best’s signature.
