This fun and VERY RARE Hand Painted Prototype is MUCH DIFFERENT than the 1994 Maxine with Blinking LIghts ornament that was mass produced..
Differences & unique features include:
*prototype is much smaller aprox 3 1/2″ H vs 4 1/2″ H (perhaps enlarged for production to hold the lighting component)
*more prototype detail in hair, clothing, even the bunny slippers.
*different colors on nearly every part of the prototype, including an entirely different pattern on Maxine’s dress & jacket.
*this prototype is sculpted wax, thus it has imperfections including a hairline crack in Maxines jacket, but is considered in excellent condition.
*prototype is not lighted, the cord with lights is a satin cord.
*a great opportunity add a one-of-a-kind Artist Prototype to your collectionÂ
